1. Introduction

ACApp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by ACApp.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us:

• Account Information: Your email address and basic profile info provided by authentication providers (like Google and Apple).
• Communication Data: Your email address is used to send automated reminders according to the reminder settings available in the app, as well as service updates and support responses.
• App Data: Contract titles, amounts, and renewal dates that you manually enter.
• Device Data: We collect Expo Push Tokens. These are unique identifiers that allow us to send you contract expiry reminders through Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

2.1. Image Data and OCR (Smart Scan)

Our Smart Scan feature uses Google ML Kit for Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Image processing happens on your local device. When you scan from the Hub, you choose whether the extracted information should be saved as a Contract or as a Smart Log. We do not upload your photos to our servers. If you choose to save a photo, it is stored locally on your device in ACApp's local gallery. The save-photo option is off by default. If you uninstall ACApp, locally stored photos and gallery data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by ACApp.

3. How ACApp Uses Data

Your data is used solely to provide the services of ACApp: calculating your monthly costs, managing your contracts, tracking smart logs, and sending automated renewal reminders (via Email and Push Notifications) at the predefined intervals. ACApp does not sell or rent your information to advertisers, nor do we use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide our services, we work with the following trusted providers:

• Supabase: For secure database storage and authentication, and automated scheduling (Edge Functions/Cron Jobs).
• RevenueCat & Google Play / Apple App Store: To process and manage your subscriptions. We do not store your financial or credit card information.
• Resend: To deliver automated email reminders and important service notifications to your inbox.
• Expo: To deliver push notifications to your device via Apple and Google infrastructure.

5. Data Security & Retention

We use industry-standard security measures provided by Supabase to protect your data. Your data is stored as long as your account is active.

6. Your Rights

• Account Deletion:You have the right to access, correct, or delete all your data instantly by using the "Delete Account" button in your Dashboard.
• App Uninstallation: Deleting the app from your phone will automatically wipe all local files, including any photos stored in the app's gallery.

Under GDPR (UK/EU), you have the right to data portability and to object to processing.

7. Security

ACApp implements technical measures to protect your data, but please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
